Privacy Policy

CAHUTEC — Last updated: October 8, 2026

1. Who We Are

CAHUTEC operates the CAHUTEC account service that lets you sign in to multiple applications with one account. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use that service (registration, login, password reset, email verification).

2. Data We Collect

We collect and process the following data:

  • Account data: email address, password (stored in hashed form), and account status (e.g. email verified).
  • Usage and technical data: IP address, browser type, and timestamps related to authentication and authorization (e.g. login, consent to third-party apps), as needed for security and operation.
  • Data you share with third-party applications: when you grant an application access via your CAHUTEC account, we transmit only the data you consent to (e.g. email, profile). We do not control how those applications use your data; their use is governed by their own privacy policies.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to provide and secure the service: to create and manage your account, authenticate you, send verification and password-reset emails, record your consent when you authorize third-party applications, and to protect against fraud and abuse. We may use technical and usage data for troubleshooting, security analysis, and to improve the service. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use essential cookies and session storage to keep you logged in, to remember your preferences (e.g. “Remember me”), and to maintain security (e.g. CSRF protection). These are necessary for the service to function. We do not use non-essential tracking or advertising cookies on this service. For more detail, see our cookie practices in this policy or in a separate cookie notice if we publish one.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your data in line with our retention schedule and legal obligations. Logs and security-related data may be retained for a limited period for safety and compliance.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access and receive a copy of your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details in the Contact section below.

7. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. Passwords are hashed; communications are protected where possible (e.g. HTTPS). You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised when we do. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy where permitted by law.
